SEMINAR BUMN MENGHADAPAI TAHUN POLITIK 2019

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA - Performa 20 badan usaha milik negara (BUMN) yang telah menjadi perusahaan terbuka disebut sudah mampu menyaingi BUMN di negara tetangga seperti di Malaysia dan Singapura.

"Performa 20 BUMN 'listed' (Tbk) mampu menopang pertumbuhan 'revenue' (pendapatan) dan total aset yang cukup bersaing dibandingkan BUMN di Malaysia dan Singapura," kata Managing Director Lembaga Management (LM) FEB UI Toto Pranoto dalam seminar bertajuk "Prospek BUMN di Tahun Politik" di Jakarta, Rabu (13/3).

How are SOEs performing under Jokowi ?

Commenting on the performance of SOEs under the four years of Jokowi’s tenure, an SOE expert from the University of Indonesia, Toto Pranoto, said the establishment of holding companies has proven to be effective.

“In some parts, the holding company has shown a positive trend, but there’s still room for improvement. Cement and fertilizer holdings have gone well, but the plantation holding company still lacks improvement,” he said.
